    "descript": "This GIS data layer represents the tracklines along which multichannel seismic data were collected during USGS cruise G1-99-GM aboard the R\/V GYRE.  Seismic data were collected in the Gulf of Mexico along 1,268 km of tracklines on the upper and middle continental slope offshore of Texas and Louisiana to study the distribution and acoustic nature of gas hydrates in this region.",
