Description This data release contains grain size and total carbon analysis of sediment samples from 1 inch hand-augered cores collected from Barter Island, Alaska. These data were collected in 2016 and 2019 (USGS Field Activity 2016-645-FA and 2019-634-FA). Data include location information (latitude, longitude, depth), and the weight percent of 65 phi bins, four size fractions (gravel, sand, silt, clay), total carbon, inorganic carbon, organic carbon, and calcium carbonate.
