Established 5 temporary control points tied to Mark, using differential GPS. These control points were used as reference marks for station establishment of the total station. The total station was used to obtain ground elevations referenced to the WGS84 ellipsoid in six different ground cover environments including: bare earth; shallow water; emergent vegetation; tall vegetation; short vegetation and mangrove scrub. The beach buggy was additional roving GPS platform to obtain coverage over larger bare earth areas.
