Field Activity P307MB

Identifier P307MB
Alternate names P-3-07-MB
Purpose The primary goal was to acquire an approximately 130-meter long transect of cores across the sediment waves in the Monterey Canyon floor at water depths of approximately 285 meters. Processing and analysis of these cores will be used to study the origin of the sediment waves.
Description United States Geological Survey, Menlo Park, California. Chief Scientists: Charlie Paull, MBARI, Bill Normark, USGS. Vibracoring data of field activity P-3-07-MB in Monterey Bay Sanctuary area from 10/15/2007 to 10/22/2007
Location Monterey Bay Sanctuary area
Summary Will come later after cruise is completed
