Landsat imagery refers to the multispectral satellite images collected by the Landsat program, a joint NASA–USGS initiative that has been continuously acquiring Earth observation data since 1972. These images are captured by sensors aboard Landsat satellites and represent science-quality, calibrated data across multiple spectral bands (visible, near-infrared, shortwave infrared, and thermal infrared).
