Purpose	To characterize the beach and nearshore morphology and evaluate the USGS Total Water Level and Coastal Change Forecast. Use of CoastCam camera station to visualize and map the beach and nearshore region to determine the types of bar morphologies, their persistence and temporal variability, and the relationship of these changes to wave and water-level conditions. Meteorlogical measurements will be made at the CoastCam location to supplement data on nearshore circulation processes, especially during the summer-early fall deployments that overlap with the shark behavior research.

Itinerary	Start Wellfleet, MA 2026-01-01 End Wellfleet, MA 2026-12-31 Activity events Hide Start date End date Description 2026-03-04 2026-03-04 Eric and Olivia went to check equipment after the February 23rd nor'easter. The camera was intact. We cleaned the lenses and took pictures from the beach facing the camera. The met station was damaged and had fallen off the mast, but the datalogger and battery were intact. The met station still had power and was still sampling, however we couldn't connect to it to download the data. The met station and the datalogger box were removed from the mast and brought back to MOF for refurbishment. 2026-06-11 2026-06-11 Eric and Olivia bringing ladder out to clean camera lenses.
